Rabiya’s autobiography released
Sukumar Azhikode, orator and social critic, released the autobiography of K.V. Rabiya, an icon of the literacy campaign in Malappuram district, at the Tagore Centenary Hall here on Saturday.
Prof. Azhikode hailed Ms. Rabiya as a rare model for fighting against odds and making her own history in the social service front. “She is a living model for surviving the toughest of physical challenges,” he said. Malappuram district panchayat president Arimbra Muhammed received the first copy of the deluxe edition of the book from Mr. Azhikode. The standard copy was received by the former Minister A.C. Shanmukhadas.
